Shocked
John Kennedy by tragically destruction Americans have apprehended arrival Lyndon Johnson to
the White house with hope that to him, the skilled politician, the master
of backroom deals in the congress, it will be possible to unit the country
before the person of difficult political, economic and social problems
which have risen in front of USA in the beginning of 60th years. Becoming
the president and having collided realities of the international life,
with features of mutual relation of two great nuclear powers, Johnson has
gone further - whenever possible aspired to separate sphere of the
soviet-American relationship, which he gradually was ready to improve,
from other areas of the international relationship fraught with
complications. Really, Johnson,
as against government Kennedy, in the soviet-American relationship there
was no serious crisis or the conflict: neither oppositions around of
Berlin, nor the Cuban crisis. Even Czechoslovak events of 1968 have passed
rather quietly. At Johnson
with Moscow for the period of 1963-1969 years it was made different
agreements more, than for all thirty years from the date of an
establishment of diplomatic relations between two countries. |
